Scan all tabs in your current window for identical URLs and close the extras. Tab Bandit keeps the most recently used version and removes the rest.

How to Use

From the Pop Up

1. Click the Tab Bandit icon to open the Pop Up.
2. Click Close Duplicates.
3. Tab Bandit scans your window, identifies matching URLs, and closes the duplicates.

From the Dashboard:

Open the Dashboard and click Kill Duplicates for a cross-window duplicate scan.

Shortcut:

Hold Ctrl (Windows) or Cmd (Mac) + X (Pop Up should open)

When It's Useful

• You've opened the same Google Doc 5 times from different Slack messages- one click removes the 4 extras.
• Your browser has been running for days and you've accumulated duplicate tabs without realizing it, this is your quick reset.

Pro Tip: Pair Sort + Close Duplicates for a fast weekly cleanup. Sort groups everything by domain, making duplicates visually obvious, then Close Duplicates wipes them.
