Move the current tab (or selected tabs) out of your current window and into a brand new window. This is Chrome's "move to new window" feature, supercharged with keyboard shortcut support and multi-tab selection.
How to Use
- Select the tab(s) you want to detach. OR Hold
Cmd (Mac) or Ctrl (Windows) and click to select multiple tabs.
- Click the Tab Bandit icon and click Detach Tabs. Or use the global shortcut
Alt+Shift+D.
- The selected tabs are moved into a new Chrome window.

When It's Useful
- You're deep in a research window but need to hop on a separate task, detach the task's tabs into their own window so you don't lose your research context.
- You want to set up a "focus window" with only the 3 tabs you need right now, select them, detach, and work distraction-free.
- You're screen-sharing on a call and want to isolate specific tabs into a clean window before presenting.
